WHAT SHOULD YOU DO FIRST?
• Stop turning the key and do not push the fragment deeper.
• Do not force the door or handle.
• Avoid sharp improvised tools and glue even when the fragment is visible.
• Do not insert a spare key while part of the broken key remains inside.
WHICH METHODS SHOULD YOU AVOID?
Needles, nails, knives and unsuitable pliers can bend the internal pins. Glue can make the cylinder unusable. Too much oil attracts dust and may cause the mechanism to jam again.
HOW IS THE PROBLEM REPAIRED?
